The annual Holiday "Bowling and Pizza" party on Thursday was once again a rousing success. Some 75 Rotarians and guests showed up at Skyline Lanes, for the party, organized once again by Jeff Fifield and Past Prez Dick Olson. Dave's Pizza kept the salad bowl and assortment of hot pies coming until everyone had been more than satisfied. The lack of regularly engaging in the ten-pin sport by many of the contestants showed in their scores, but did not detract from their competitive enthusiasm. The contest's champion team was Team Ott, captained by Jay Ott. The fact that he brought a squad of ringers in sons, Keven and Dan, and their friend Bryan Lansing, was noted by several less successful contestants. That will not detract, however, from the satisfaction in the Ott house, which will be home of the trophy until next year.
