This Week at Rotary We Meet at Noon via ZOOM Thursday, January 7, 2021 (Meeting Opens at 11:45) (Link Sent Thursday Morning) Jeremy Youde Dean, College of Liberal Arts University of Minnesota - Duluth Four Lessons from the Middle of the Pandemic In one year COVID-19 has gone from unknown to a global pandemic changing the world landscape. There is still much we do not know. We are starting to see truths emerge from global governmental and the health system responses. The COVID risk is not equal across all groups. And, the adage that this virus (and others) do not respect international borders may not be as true as we once thought. A vaccine will not be enough. Highlights from Last Week’s Meeting By Jerry Thoreson Rotary Club of Duluth had an evening Holiday Zoom Gathering on Wednesday December 30 organized by Renee Mattson, President Elect Chana Stocke and President Elect Nominee Barb Perrella. There was no typical program, no fines, just fun and fellowship. Jon Ohman won the prize for being the best dressed! Top honors in the “Name That Tune” competition went to Past President Michelle Buria and Felicia Forrest for knowing the most song titles and artists. Congratulations to winners.
