UMD Theatre and an Engaged Community

William Payne, UMD Professor, Acting & Directing, Department of Theatre, will share the role that UMD Theatre has and continues to play in our community and across the region. UMD Theatre also has played a crucial role in convening, supporting, and growing the arts community in Duluth. With events like the Twin Ports Arts Align, the Creative Communities Leadership Institute, The WestArt Drama Studio, and the 24 Hour Plays Minneapolis, UMD Theatre is a leader in economic and community development in Duluth and the surrounding communities.
