There was fun and fellowship for the Rotarians and guests at the Prime Rib Dinner and Auction.   It was great to see friends from the other area Rotary Clubs. Chef Gary Schneider and his kitchen crew put together the usual over the top prime rib dinner with all the extras which this year included a fish choice of tilapia.

There was non-stop action from start to finish.  Hundreds of tickets being stuffed into the raffle boxes.  The desert auction included lively bidding as each delicious item was displayed. The live auction items were well received and some folks were disappointed their bids were not successful. But not to worry.  The last opportunity was perhaps the greatest.  Paddles up for Polio Plus gave everyone the chance to participate in Rotary’s worldwide effort to eradicate polio.  In just minutes $10,000 was raised!  

For those who were able to attend our largest fellowship event, and the fundraiser with the most fun, it was a grand evening.  If you were not able to make it, you missed out.

Buffy Helstrom, wife of Paul Helstrom, donated this beautiful and creative carrot cake which raised $180.
