I grew up in Eveleth Minnesota on the Iron Range. I moved to the Duluth area in 2002 to attend college and have stayed in the area ever since! I received my undergraduate degree in legal studies from UW-Superior and my MBA and MA from The College of Saint Scholastica.
I really enjoy fishing and spending time outdoors. I am also an avid reader of non-fiction. I teach on a half-time basis and UW-Superior in the School of Business & Economics and I really enjoy that as it allows me to stay on top of my profession. I teach courses within the Legal Studies major as well so I get to stay involved in both law and business. The ability to help prepare young professionals is enjoyable and rewarding.
My wife Amber is the Administrative Assistant to Greg Hansen at Hansen House Co., an accounting firm in Duluth. We have two children, Katie (8) and Ben (7). They attend Queen of Peace Catholic School in Cloquet.
I really enjoy meeting people of different professional backgrounds in Rotary. Because my management consulting is particularly focused on managing human capital, I find it really enjoyable to meet people who are passionate about their chosen profession. Rotary gives me the opportunity to share experiences with truly great people while serving others.
